Jennifer & Vance My wife and I couldn’t recommend Dave and his team highly enough. Our problem involved rectifying issues associated with our roof and trusses (as well as internal work involving our ceilings and walls as a result of the roof). This is in a home built by a well known and supposedly reputable building company. We had a lot of stress in the months leading up to having Dave recommended to us, with people as qualified as an engineer unable to identify our issue. Dave identified the issue immediately on his first visit and was able to accommodate us within a month to get the job done. The job ran smoothly and we got some professional results from Dave, Luke and Ra. We can’t be please enough. And as a topper, Dave told us he had quoted on materials in an area that he made an allowance and gave us a revised invoice at the completion of the job. Never in my life has any tradie done that. Shannon & Mel Dave Veltmeyer and his Time To Build team recently completed our kitchen/laundry and structural renovation. From our initial meeting Dave made us feel at ease with a very professional yet amiable approach. We discussed our plan open to suggestions to maximise the space we were renovating. We admit we were initially unsure of removing one interior wall but are very glad we listened to Dave’s suggestion. Dave’s tradesmen liaised with all trades, co-ordinating the various stages of the project to minimise disruption to our family. Throughout the project Dave noticed some prior works which required remediation. Once Dave ran through the implications of not fixing these issues we were more than happy for him to undertake the remediation work. Every day the worksite was always left in good order without any safety hazards. We are very pleased with the Dave’s work and would happily recommend him and his team.

"I love my new bathroom and laundry. My 25 year old 3 way bathroom that had walls and doors separating the basin area, the toilet, and the shower/bath area. This space also had my one and only, small, linen cupboard in it. The whole area was dark and crowded, with limited storage. My laundry had no storage other than an old bookcase. Time for a re-vamp. I had a rather specific idea in my head of the new layout and Dave listened to what I wanted, guided me with his vast knowledge, and gave me some great suggestions and ideas. Dave is ever so patient and so easy to work with, explaining everything as it happens, and dealing with the unexpected (e.g.. our termite damage) with efficiency. I wanted my shaving cabinets fully recessed, which is not standard, the Time To Build team rose to the challenge, and completed the job to a very high quality of workmanship. During the renovation the trades, very respectfully, came and went through the back door to keep the rest of my house as clean as possible which was much appreciated. Now I have a gorgeous freestanding bath, with a mitred edge recess above, worthy of “The Block” (thanks to Phil and Gavin the tilers), and a huge linen cupboard in my lovely new laundry. I am so happy with the finished product. Together with his team of tradies, Dave totally transformed the bathroom and laundry into a beautifully finished, modern space that I love, with loads of organised storage. It’s really amazing. Kudos! I hope to be renovating my kitchen and ensuite in the future and I will contact Dave for the job without hesitation. Dave took the ideas I had in my head and made it into reality.
